Quality Assurance associates work with other staff to make sure procedures and
products adhere to established quality standards, maintain legal compliance,
and satisfy customers.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
• Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
• Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
• Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
• Collect and compile statistical quality data
• Collect and analyse quality data to identify areas for improvement in the quality
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
• Identify training needs to meet quality standards
• Support on-site audits conducted by external providers
• Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Monitor risk management activities
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements


Behaviours & Skills required include a strong work ethic, combined with attention to detail, initiative and ability to work as part of a team. Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelors degree in relevant discipline
• At least one year experience in a scientific, health, technical or clinical role
• Working knowledge of quality system requirements and QMS
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
• Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
• Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis
